MARGA Online Competition to Be Continued
For more than 35 years, ESMT European School of Management and Technology GmbH and Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt have organized the MARGA management training. More than 80,000 executives and junior managers have already participated. Participating companies in the past include Degussa GmbH, Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Sanofi-Aventis, and Robert Bosch GmbH.
MARGA easily conveys a good understanding on the effectiveness of global competition to executive staff. Teams are given the chance to lead their own company interactively via an eLearning platform while competing directly with other international teams. During various rounds of competition, which are closely based on reality, they learn to assert themselves in the free-market economy.
MARGA can be ordered in two different versions. MARGA Industry focuses on industrial and production companies. MARGA Service was developed for the service industry.
The crucial factor for the continuous success of MARGA is the close and comprehensive support of the competition's participants, who receive full support consisting of professional, competent input through business guides, WBTs, and online tutoring. MARGA, originally developed by USW Schloss Gracht and later taken over and continued by ESMT European School of Management and Technology, is a forerunner in blended learning programs.
"The employees' qualifications are an essential part of entrepreneurial quality. For many years, MARGA has been an indispensable part of the internal training within the RWE Corporation, and it is used to promote highly motivated staff members", says the company's Alwin Fitting.
"The MARGA simulation is an efficient measure of external training through which the essential coherences of value-based business management can easily be communicated. Furthermore, the training of successful teamwork is also well covered. After all, it is the ability of companies' employees to commit themselves to their mutual success that ultimately makes it possible for a company to survive in the global business competition."
