Distance and eLearning in Transition
The volume's first part focuses on the development of distance education and eLearning and reflects on institutionalised approaches as well as the reform and development that have taken place as the result of sustained social and educational policies and practices. The second part looks at teaching and learning environments in the making and explores pedagogical concepts, learner needs, instructional design, and collaborative learning.
The editors are Ulrich Bernath, András Szûcs, Alan Tait, and Martine-Vidal, and each part features contributions by more than thirty authors. The articles assembled span over eight years, reflecting on an evolving process, highlighting the changes in how actors in distance and eLearning have engaged with ICT, and examining how researchers have investigated the new technologies and the concomitant conceptual analyses.
The price of the Book is 127 euros, plus postage. A special discounted price of 99 euros is available to EDEN Members.
