Sharing Successful Ideas for eLearning in the Workplace

New York, NY (USA), November 2010 - The International eLearning Association has announced that ICELW 2011, the fourth annual international conference on eLearning in the workplace, will be held from 08-10 June 2011 at Columbia University in New York. The call for proposals is now open, and the deadline for submissions is 15 December 2010.

ICELW is an international conference focused on eLearning in the workplace. With researchers and practitioners coming from university and business settings around the globe, ICELW works to improve online learning so that it makes a measurable difference in workplace performance and morale.

Along with traditional presentation formats, ICELW 2011 will incorporate an increased focus on demonstrations of successful eLearning, on the inclusion of a discussion and debate format, and on the application of new research ideas and research studies to practical workplace-learning problems. ICELW welcomes anyone with a background or interest in eLearning in the workplace, including researchers, consultants, and corporate trainers, managers, and directors.

The aim is to present the most relevant and promising ideas in research and practice and then build on them to bring about excellence and innovation in workplace eLearning.

To convey eLearning knowledge and show its application in the workplace, ICELW uses a variety of engaging formats: demonstrations, mini-seminars, case studies, interviews, debates, presentations, panel discussions, and more. By offering this "active" structure for the Conference, the event seeks to encourage lively discussion among participants, as well as inspire meaningful action.
