UK Top 50 IT Training Providers 2010

London (UK), July 2010 - Pardo Fox, specialist provider of market intelligence and strategic consultancy to the IT training industry, has published its annual table of the UK's Top 50 IT training providers by revenue.

David Pardo, of Pardo Fox comments, "2009 was a difficult year for the IT training industry, but perhaps not quite as bad as some people had feared. We estimate that the UK market declined by fifteen percent overall, to £480 million. There were, however, plenty of bright spots amid the gloom - even among some of the bigger players. Our current expectation is that the market will have moved out of recession - and returned to modest growth - by the second quarter of 2010."

The revenues shown in the table are for each company's financial year ending in 2009 or over the calendar year 2009 and relate to IT training delivered in the UK. Eligibility is open to any company with revenues derived principally from the sale of training to employers for their staff. It does not include vendors to colleges and universities or firms selling to private individuals or delivering publicly funded training programmes. Also excluded are companies such as Logica and Accenture, who offer training as part of an integrated IT service.

"We would like to thank everybody - training providers and others - who has contributed to this project", adds Pardo.

Where a company's actual training revenue is on public record, that figure has been used. For those with no published turnover, an estimate has been made based on available data, indicated by an -œe- next to the revenue figure. Some revenues given in last year's table have been restated, and growth relates to the updated figure.

Figures are UK revenues only, are rounded to the nearest £100,000, and relate to fiscal years ending in 2009 (i.e. accounts for the year ending sometime between 01 January 2009 and 31 December 2009) or cover the 2009 calendar year.
