Oxford (UK), January 2009 - The Association for Learning Technology (ALT) announces the 2009 Call for Nominations for Honorary Life Membership of ALT, the UK-based professional and scholarly association that brings together people who share an interest in the use of learning technology.

Seb Schmoller, Chief Executive of ALT, explains the criteria for honorary members: -œWe welcome nominations for the Honorary Life Membership, which is awarded to individuals whom the Association believes have made an outstanding and sustained contribution to the advancement of the Association for Learning Technology's aims. 1. Any individual, whether an individual member or a representative of an ALT organisational member or not, may be nominated for HLM.
  2. Any individual member of ALT is entitled to make or support nominations for HLM.
