digital publishing Engages in French Education Initiative
Paris (FR), Mai 2007 - digital publishing SAS, the French branch of the Munich language specialist digital publishing, will be engaged in the French Ministry of Education's initiative for the "democratization of information and communication technology". The initiative aims to equip economically disadvantaged and remote regions with a digital infrastructure, enabling France's rural population to access important information and communication technology.
To help facilitate this process, dp France will provide schools, universities, local authority institutions, and national education authorities with professional language-learning software at no cost. The reasoning behind the French Ministry of Education's promotion is the conviction that economic, social, and cultural progress can only take place if all sections of the population acquire comparable levels of media and foreign-language proficiency. With free-of-charge language course installation, dp France will significantly contribute to that goal.
