eLN Conference Renamed and Confirmed for 10 November

London (UK), September 2016 - The eLN annual conference has been renamed eLN CONNECT and will be its biggest ever event, moving to the Minories Suite at Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in central London. Open to members and non-members alike, registrations for this major conference are now being taken.

The eLearning Network is excited to announce that the annual eLN annual conference, newly renamed "eLN CONNECT", is now confirmed for 10 November 2016. eLN is building on last year's successful conference, moving to a new, larger venue in central London, the Minories Suite, Grange Tower Bridge Hotel, just a few minutes' walk away from London Tower Bridge itself.

The format will remain faithful to last year's successful structure, with three streams running throughout the day. There will be sessions from thought leaders, members, and experts sharing their experience. There will also be plenty of time for informal networking and, of course, opportunities to speak to leading learning-industry organisations.

The three streams each offer a different theme:

  • Stream 1 covers strategy and tactics for digital learning.
  • Stream 2 will concentrate on learning design and methods.
  • Stream 3 focuses on eLearning tools and systems.

Explains eLN vice-chair, Phil Reddall, "We were really pleased by the feedback we got from last year's event, both from sponsors and visitors, so we were keen to stick with the same format. We also wanted to keep the same intimate feel, so we were delighted to find a venue that offered us the chance to do just that. As always, we'll be making sure this eLN event provides a proper opportunity to get into the detail with experts.

"We're looking to make it a friendly, informal event focused on the practice of digital learning. It will be a day that is different to other conferences, a day where you can really learn something new! You will see lots of new tools and techniques in action and discover how effective digital learning is built. We'll also be looking at new approaches and strategies in the world of technology supported learning."
