EdTechX Europe 2016
London (UK), April 2016 - EdTechXEurope, the exclusive eLearning-focussed summit, will this year take place over two days and has also undergone a branding overhaul to reflect the event’s growing global success and delegate interest. Now entitled the EdTechXSeries, the London event will take place 15-16 June, followed by a brand-new EdTechXAsia event, to take place in Singapore, 08-09 November 2016.
Founded by the education-technology company Edxus Group and specialist media-investment and advisory firm IBIS Capital, the remit of the event remains to provide a platform for senior business executives to explore current industry and investment trends in eLearning and provide a catalyst for the consolidation and investment required in the sector.
Now in its fourth year, EdTechXEurope 2016 aims to host 800+ attendees and 80+ speakers, including a session powered once again by the US’s most energetic and innovative education sector event, SXSWedu, which will bridge the innovation divide between the European and North American continents. Confirmed speakers are influencers from a wide range of education organizations, and companies will be confirmed soon.
The annual summit will showcase ideas related to industry, innovation, investors, and educators, through keynotes, panel discussion, and workshops that address themes such as digitisation, globalisation, personalisation, privatisation, and acceleration.
EdTechXEurope will also provide the stage for the culmination of the annual EdTech 20 competition, designed to foster and showcase notable innovation ideas within the start-up communities through pitches and awards.
