Changing Learning to Meet Modern Demands
ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN is looking for the services, case studies, research, thinking, narratives, and expertise that are shaping technology-enhanced learning and training.
How is learning changing us? What does changing learning offer us? This year's ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN will focus on the evolving shape of modern learning and the opportunity that the variety of modern technology-assisted learning brings. Themes include Better and Best Practices, Training Learning and Development Strategies, The Cutting Edge, The Education Ecosystem, The New Business of Learning, and Big Data for Education, Learning and Training.
Information on how to submit a proposal to the Conference is available on the ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN conference website.
Over the past twenty years, ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN has seen technology-supported learning evolve tremendously. As Jay Cross, CEO of Internet Time Alliance and member of ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN's Steering Committee put it, "Twenty years ago, the Web went mainstream, and ONLINE EDUCA became the forum for discovering and debating what works in online education. At first, many people said online education would never work; two decades of progress and innovation have proven them wrong."
Rebecca Stromeyer, Chief Executive of ICWE, the company that organises the ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN, believes the Conference continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of technology- supported learning: "Learning is changing. It will continue to be enhanced by technology. Connections between learners in different cities, countries, and even continents will become more and more common. Every year ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN continues to make its unique contribution to an inspiring international dialogue about education and technology. Along with the 2,000 people who attend it every year, I am excited to learn what the shape of global learning will look like in the future."
