Interactive Mobile and Computer-Aided Learning
The world is witnessing a revolution in mobile and computing technologies that will transform all handheld devices into small computers. These will feature multimedia, web browsing, gaming capabilities, and desktop work environments with office software, in addition to the usual telephony on mobile networks and the Internet.
IMCL2012 comes as a response to this challenge. The event is part of an international initiative to promote technology-enhanced learning and online engineering worldwide. It promotes the development of mobile learning in the Middle East, provides a forum for education and knowledge transfer, exposes students to the latest ICT technologies, and encourages the study and implementation of mobile applications in teaching and learning.
The Conference covers all aspects of mobile learning, mobile business, mobile government, and mobile society, as well as the emergence of mobile technologies and services - including their implications for education, business, governments and society.
The event further presents an opportunity for educators to develop new skills and to stimulate critical debate on theories, approaches, principles, and applications of m-learning. Hence, it facilitates dialogue, sharing, and networking among diverse cultures with regard to the optimal use of emerging technologies.
IMCL2012 is organized under the umbrella of the International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE) and is co-sponsored by the IEEE Education Society, as well as the International E-Learning Association (IELA).
