eLearning Programme for Scottish Water by Aurion

Belfast/Dunfermline (UK), May 2012 - Aurion Learning has been working closely with Scottish Water to design and develop a new eLearning programme on information security. The programme has been developed for all staff at Scottish Water and is designed to help them get to grips with Scottish Water's information security policy practices.

The online learning programme covers what information security means to Scottish Water, threats to information security, what resources are available to help Scottish Water staff in relation to information security, and where to find them.

Speaking about the project, Dr. Maureen Murphy, Managing Director of Aurion Learning says, "Information security is about people, their lives, and their livelihoods. We have developed this information security eLearning programme in partnership with Scottish Water to raise awareness that information security is everyone's responsibility and to encourage staff to think about the consequences of poor data management."
