High Demand for eLearning Materials by Project Agency
The eLearning materials are based on the contents of Project Agency's two-day training course. Over 14,000 delegates have successfully completed this course since it began running in 1997 - so, on average, some 1,000 people each year, or over nineteen people every week during that period have completed the course.
Ron Rosenhead, managing director at Project Agency, explains, "Both the eLearning and instructor-delivered courses are intended for those who want to develop their project- management skills - and who want to understand what lies beneath successful project delivery."
The eLearning materials enable learners to
- use a standardised framework for defining, planning and controlling projects;
- recognise the role(s) they play and define other people's contribution to the project-management process;
- recognise and reduce risks within all types of project work; and
- use a range of tools related to project management.
Combining reading material, activities (with model answers), audio commentary, video, on-screen guidance, and assessments, the eLearning course introduces the learner to a project- management approach that is used throughout the UK and Europe. The course has been specifically designed to encourage and reinforce learning.
For those who want to develop their knowledge and skills in particular areas of project management, Project Agency has also developed a series of eLearning modules covering project planning, stakeholder and risk management, benefits management, identifying and having clear roles in projects, and the business case.
These modules are individually priced at £20 or £25 each + VAT, while the entire Perfect Project eLearning course costs £100 + VAT.
