TELL US AWARDS Final Event on 25 November 2015
TELL US AWARDS Final Event will showcase the results and demonstrate the benefits the contest participants and winners secured through their participation in the project.
Presentation of the winners and impact of TELL US on their products and services:
1. Labster (Denmark) develops bespoke, gamified, photorealistic 3D laboratory simulations based on real-life cases and aimed at secondary schools and university courses in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), encouraging young people to pursue science studies.
2. Sociobotix (Greece) harnesses the power of robotics with the "Social Flower" – a robotic, anthropomorphic flower created to assist children who face difficulties in communication and cooperation due to social skills and language deficiencies.
3. Cerebriti (Spain) Technologies maintains a platform that allows teachers and students to create their own interactive learning games and then share them with others as part of a "gamecyclopedia".
Education topics will be presented by key speakers: How new technologies are shaping education today and US insights - and the "new types" of schools emerging there; The rise of European EdTech; the project “Opportunity in Education”; insights into Horizon 2020 "ICT-22-2016: Technologies for Learning and Skills", etc…
