Learning Pool Live on Tour

London (UK), May 2013 - ELearning supplier Learning Pool has announced that Denise Hudson-Lawson, Head of Online Services for Parliamentary ICT, and Steve Wheeler, Associate Professor of Learning Technologies at Plymouth University, will headline the agenda at each of the three Learning Pool Live events in October.

Now in their fifth year, the Learning Pool Live events bring inspiration, practical advice, and a lot of fun in equal measure. Learning Pool will be going on tour throughout the UK and providing an opportunity for delegates to take away tried and tested eLearning strategies.

With "Develop the Possibilities" as the theme, the events will take place in Sheffield (09 October), Cardiff (16 October) and London (23 October). They expect to attract hundreds of learning and development professionals from across the UK public and private sectors.

Originally trained as a psychologist, Steve Wheeler has spent his entire career working in media, technology, and learning. He is a renowned speaker in his field and has presented training sessions and workshops for various local and national government authorities and professional development organisations.

Steve will explore "Learning Futures: How new and emerging technologies will impact learning and development."

Denise Hudson-Lawson is Head of Online Services for Parliamentary ICT and has recently moved from being Head of ICT Training. She is responsible for Service Delivery for over 7,000 customers for a number of areas including training, support, and product delivery.
