London (UK), May 2013 - The Learning and Skills Group has announced details for its annual conference in London on 18 June, which is also being co-located with the brand-new Learning Technologies Summer Forum.

London (UK), May 2013 - The Learning and Skills Group has announced details for for its annual conference in London on 18 June, which is also being co-located with the brand-new Learning Technologies Summer Forum.

The Learning and Skills Group has announced the details and programmes for two co-located events: The Learning and Skills Group Conference and the Learning Technologies Summer Forum, taking place in London at Olympia 2 on 18 June. The Learning and Skills Group Conference is for 450 of the Learning and Skills Group's most active community members and Learning Technologies Conference delegates, many of the L&D sector's leading commercial providers, and L&D visionaries.

The Conference explores industry trends, practical strategies, and technologies that are driving organisational learning. A host of the learning industry's popular speakers from January's Learning Technologies Conference are presenting, as well as several new ones. The speakers include Gerd Leonhard, Laura Overton and Steve Wheeler, Nigel Paine, Harold Jarche, and Doug Belshaw.

The co-located Learning Technologies Summer Forum comprises a programme of thirty seminars covering innovations in learning and learning products and services, as well as an exhibition of 36 leading commercial learning providers. According to event organiser, Mark Penton, "The Forum builds on the key learning themes from January's huge Learning Technologies exhibition. It is free to attend and offers a chance for L&D professionals to see the best of the sessions, new technologies, demos, and companies that they may have missed at January's Learning Technologies event, as well as a host of new content that will be on show."
