Pearson at Testing Industry's Biggest Innovation Event
At the industry's annual flagship event for innovations in testing, attendees will learn how to enhance the test development, delivery, and promotion of their testing program. Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing (CBT) business of Pearson, will present on a wide range of topics designed to help test owners apply new innovations and best practices to their testing programs.
Pearson VUE industry experts, partners, and clients will be presenting at sessions such as Analysis and Scoring of Innovative Items and Remote-Proctored Online Assessment: Miracle or Mirage? Additionally, in its Platinum sponsor session, members of Pearson VUE's Product Strategy team will challenge, educate, and inspire when they discuss how to make innovation a reality within your organization.
Don Wagner, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Pearson VUE, will be joined by representatives from the educational, certification, and international markets for the Conference's closing panel session. Together, they will consider the most critical challenges within the testing community, the technologies and innovations set to make the biggest impact, and the market forces that will reshape our current practices.
"The testing industry continues to change at a rapid pace, as test sponsors look for more advanced and enhanced capabilities to manage, secure, and grow their programs," said Robert Whelan, president and chief executive officer of Pearson VUE. "It is for this reason, and the fact we can learn how to better meet the needs of our colleagues from around the globe, that the Innovations in Testing Conference is so important to us. Since its formation, Innovations in Testing has enabled the widespread sharing of experiences, best practices, and innovations. It remains a key date for assessment professionals worldwide and is always a highlight on our calendar."
Pearson VUE's experts will also be on hand to discuss the company's role as part of a wider credentialing family. Attendees can find out about its recent acquisition of Certiport, as well as its joint venture with ACE to revamp the GED Test and transition it to CBT.
