Interactive Computer-Aided Blended Learning Conference

Antigua Guatemala (GT), March 2011 - ICBL2011 is the fourth international ICBL conference and will be held 02-04 November 2011, in Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala. This interdisciplinary conference focuses on the exchange of relevant trends and research results, as well as the presentation of practical experience gained while developing and testing elements of interactive computer-aided blended learning. Pilot projects, applications, and products are also welcome.




The Conference is being organized by Galileo University (Research and Development Department GES). The invited keynote speaker is Dr. Rob Reilly Ed.D. (President IEEE Education Society).

Topics of interest include but are not limited to

  • technology-enhanced learning methodologies and tools
  • individual, social, and organizational learning processes
  • pedagogical and psychological issues
  • technical and theoretical issues
  • real-world experiences
  • mobile applications in learning
  • pilot projects / products / applications

Types of contributions

  • full papers (peer-reviewed, twenty-minute presentations followed by a panel discussion)
  • short papers (fifteen-minute presentations)
  • interactive demonstrations (fifteen-minute presentations and online demonstrations)
  • round-table discussions (work in progress, doctoral thesis discussions, research cooperation with LA) (What is LA?)
  • poster presentations

Important dates

  • full paper submission - 31 March 2011
  • notification - 15 June 2011
  • camera-ready due - 15 September 2011

All accepted submissions will be published in the ICBL2011 proceedings (with ISBN - Kassel University Press).
