Innovative eLearning at Your Fingertips
Under the motto of "Innovate, Share, Succeed", around 2,200 participants from over 90 countries will discuss the latest developments in eLearning, including next-generation learning strategies, contemporary virtual learning, mobile learning, new eLearning business models, and open source developments.
Additionally, trends such as Docu Games, Web 3.0, and affective computing, as well as storytelling, will be addressed. Numerous workshops, seminars, debates, and demonstrations will take place together with new interactive formats, such as the "Computer Lab", which encourage intensive participant involvement.
For the premiere of the Online Educa Debate event, Donald Clark, a director of LINE, and Jerry Michalski, Founder of Sociate, will join critic Dr Aric Sigman to discuss the pros and cons of the social web. Other plenary sessions will bring together learning expert David James Clarke IV, Moodle creator Martin Dougiamas, Prof Lizbeth Goodman from SMARTlab Digital Media Institute, and Prof Gilly Salmon from the University of Leicester.
Leading international eLearning suppliers will present new products and services at the accompanying exhibition. For the first time, there will also be a forum for teachers and educators.
