Announcing the 2013 Learning Awards winners

London (UK), February 2013 - The learning community's top organisations and outstanding individuals gathered in London to celebrate the seventeenth annual Learning Awards. The Popular BBC Breakfast host Susanna Reid hosted the event which took place at the five-star Dorchester Hotel, on London's Park Lane. The ceremony was filled with international figureheads from the global learning community, who joined the awards finalists to celebrate outstanding success across fourteen award categories.




The standout categories included Learning Company of the Year, which was won by The Mind Gym. The category for Learning Department of the Year, which was dominated by a host of household names including McDonald's Restaurants, Legal & General, and Ernst & Young, was won by First Data.

This year's Colin Corder Award for services to learning was presented to Jane Hart. Jane is renowned for her commitment to the learning profession and in particular for helping the sector embrace new tools and models for learning.
