Lourdes Guàrdia, eLearn Center lecturer and director of the University Master’s Degree in Education and ICTs (eLearning) at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia, UOC), is on the Steering Committee of the European Network of ePortfolio Experts and Practitioners (Europortfolio). The organisation is a European network whose mission is to support and promote innovation and research in the field of ePortfolios and related technologies and practices.

The creation of this network was one of the main aims of the EPNET project, though the network is an independent body that is open to participation from new members. The event to present Europortfolio took place in London on 10 July. Over fifty people attended, representing a number of European accreditation, education, and research institutions.
