The aim is to use this site to promote use of information and communication technology (ICT) in the educational community. The ultimate goal of the project is to provide teachers with appropriate tools with which to teach students of different ages about the EU. Students can thus gain sufficient knowledge to be able to make informed decisions on issues relating to the process of European integration.

A particular highlight on the site is the section dedicated to augmented reality, which seeks to show the potential of this technology in the field of education.

Learn Europe has received funding from the European Commission’s Jean Monnet Programme. This programme provides funding to promote education, research, and reflection on the process of European integration.
