QA Expands Market-Leading Green IT Training Portfolio
According to Jeff Payne, Director of Best Practice at QA, the courses demonstrate that organisations are committing in greater numbers to implementing ethical computing standards. "Despite the continued tough economic climate", says Payne, "businesses are attracted to the compelling advantages of implementing a Green IT strategy."
QA's new offerings include both a half-day and a one-day Green IT Awareness course designed for people with little knowledge or exposure to Green IT to inform attendees of the basic principles, objectives, and methods. The courses also provide a series of quick wins that will bring immediate environmental and cost benefits to individuals and their organisation.
At the other end of the scale, for IT/business managers and Green IT champions, QA is offering the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Green IT. This professional-level course and resulting qualification is designed to help those responsible for Green IT to develop the in-depth knowledge and skills needed to make Green IT a reality.
"QA has the only end-to-end Green IT training solution", explains Payne. "Our range of courses is designed to help every stakeholder in a Green IT strategy, from business leaders to project managers. Organisations want to be more ethical - and cut their operating costs. We're helping them to do just that."
