digital publishing Receives Three Worlddidac Awards
In making the award, the international jury emphasized that it was being granted in specific recognition of the innovative technology and pedagogical value of the dp language-training solutions. The evaluation for the Worlddidac Award, which is the most highly recognized international prize in the education sector, took place in Bern, Switzerland, in June 2008.
A preselected field of 52 products from 11 countries around the world representing all education sectors was invited to participate. Eventually the international expert jury decided that 21 products lived up to the high standards in quality and innovation that qualify for the Worlddidac Award.
The official presentation to the winners of the Worlddidac Award 2008 will take place on October 28, 2008, on the eve of the international education trade show and exhibition WORLDDIDAC Basel 2008. The products will then be introduced to the interested public, and many of them will also be on display during the three days of the show.
The Worlddidac Award was established in Switzerland in 1984 with the aim of motivating producers of teaching media to continuously renew their products.
