New eLearning Provision Unlocks People Potential

Stamford (UK), November 2009 - Edvantage group, an eLearning company, has launched a managed learning services eLearning programme for the engineering software provider, AVEVA. They have implemented Learning Gateway, Edvantage group's software-as-a-service-based learning management system.

AVEVA are also using Learning Gateway to host their existing Microsoft Software Assurance server and application eLearning credits as part of the main catalogue. With the implementation of 'AVEVA eLearning', more training opportunities are being provided for everyone across the group. By using one provider, AVEVA are able to realise the potential of their existing investment in Microsoft training and offer a wide range of learning.

Hans van der Drift, President AVEVA EMEA, comments, "It's great to give everyone a chance to improve their skills and make them feel involved. It underpins our culture of continual progression and demonstrates that we really do value our people."

As part of the next phase AVEVA are creating induction training that will be a mixture of bespoke modules created in-house using the content authoring tool, CourseBuilder, plus generic eLearning bought through Edvantage group's brokerage service. The output will complement the face-to-face sessions, all of which will be managed through Learning Gateway, providing one port of call for all users.
