Flying with Dragonair - Trained by NetDimensions

Hong Kong (CN), October 2007 - NetDimensions, a global provider of learning, knowledge and performance management systems, successfully completed its participation at the recent APATS (Asia Pacific Aviation Training Symposium), organized alongside the Asian Aerospace Tradeshow & Conference, by announcing the sale of 3,500 licenses of its Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) to the Hong Kong-based international airline Dragonair.

Dragonair, which became a wholly owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways in 2006, will use EKP for flight and other operations training. The airline operates a fleet that includes both Airbus and Boeing aircraft and offers scheduled passenger services to mainland China, Taiwan, Cambodia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Korea.

Thanks to EKP's architectural flexibility, Dragonair was not only able to implement learning and assessment systems to address emerging organizational, regulatory, and content-related requirements rapidly, but also to integrate its systems with the corporate training and career development framework of Dragonair parent Cathay Pacific seamlessly and effortlessly.

Jay Shaw, co-founder and Chief Executive Office of NetDimensions noted, "Organizations in the airline and aircraft sector are especially interested in our new Enterprise Assessment Platform product. It allows them to create, manage, and administer evaluations related to flight and other operations that have strict licensing, certification and/or compliance requirements efficiently and effectively".

With the recent addition of Dragonair, NetDimensions has increased its airline client base to six. Other recent customer wins include Midwest Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, and projects at Etihad Airways and KLM.
